Senior UI/UX Designer — Player Experience

About VistralNova

VistralNova is a technology company building developer tools, game systems, AI-powered experiences, and digital infrastructure for modern interactive products. Our work brings together software engineering, game design, artificial intelligence, and asset-ready infrastructure to help teams create products that are practical, scalable, and easier to trust.

We are evolving toward a flexible technical foundation aligned with Polkadot and PVM-based architecture. Our team values clean architecture, practical execution, strong engineering standards, and long-term product quality.

About the Role

The Senior UI/UX Designer for Player Experience focuses specifically on the interactive, game-facing side of VistralNova's products — onboarding into games, progression and reward interfaces, and the moments where gameplay meets digital ownership. This is a part-time, remote role well suited to a senior designer looking for focused, high-impact project work rather than a full-time seat. You'll bring strong opinions on player-centered design and know how to balance fun, clarity, and trust.

What You'll Do

  • Design player-facing UI for game onboarding, progression, and reward systems.
  • Craft interfaces where gameplay and digital asset ownership intersect, keeping the experience game-first.
  • Partner with the Lead Game Designer and engineering to translate mechanics into interfaces.
  • Produce polished UI mockups and lightweight interactive prototypes.
  • Give focused, senior-level design critique on player-facing work in progress.
  • Work within a part-time cadence with clear, scoped weekly deliverables.

What We Look For

  • Senior-level experience designing UI/UX for games or highly interactive products.
  • Strong visual design skills alongside solid UX/interaction design fundamentals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a part-time, project-based capacity.
  • Comfort collaborating remotely and asynchronously with a small team.
  • Portfolio showing player-facing or consumer app interface work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for racing, simulation, strategy, or economy-driven games.
  • Familiarity with digital ownership, wallets, or NFT-based reward systems.
  • Motion/animation or interactive prototyping skills.
  • Interest in a longer-term or expanded engagement as the game product matures.
