About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer for Web Applications leads delivery on VistralNova's public-facing web products — marketing sites, product dashboards, and account/application flows like careers and onboarding. You'll take ownership of features from architecture through to production, mentoring less senior engineers along the way. This is a contract engagement suited to someone who can move fast independently and integrate cleanly with an existing codebase and team.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and build full-stack features across our public web properties.
  • Own technical decisions for the projects you lead, from data model to UI polish.
  • Improve performance, accessibility, and reliability of existing web applications.
  • Integrate third-party services (email, storage, analytics, payments) cleanly and securely.
  • Review code and provide technical mentorship to other engineers on the team.
  • Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and risks clearly in an async-friendly, contract setting.

What We Look For

  • Proven senior-level experience shipping production full-stack web applications.
  • Strong command of React/Next.js and Node.js (or directly comparable stacks).
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing secrets/credentials safely.
  • Ability to work independently on a contract basis with minimal oversight.
  • History of writing maintainable, well-tested code others can build on.
  • Comfortable communicating async across time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with static-export or JAMstack architectures and serverless backends (e.g. Supabase).
  • Familiarity with crypto wallet integrations or digital asset products.
  • Portfolio of public-facing sites or applications you've led end-to-end.
  • Availability for renewal into a longer-term or full-time engagement.
