About the Role
The Product Manager decides what we build and why, for one of VistralNova's product areas. This is distinct from our Technical Project Manager role: that one is about delivery and coordination, this one is about direction. You will work out what users need, decide what is worth building, define it clearly enough to execute, and judge afterwards whether it worked. We are small, so this is hands-on — talking to users directly, writing the specs yourself, and living with the consequences of your calls.
What You'll Do
- Own the direction and roadmap for a product area.
- Talk to users and turn what you learn into decisions rather than reports.
- Define problems and requirements clearly enough for a team to build against.
- Prioritise honestly, including deciding what will not be built.
- Work day to day with engineering, design, and game teams.
- Define success measures before launch and check them after.
- Communicate direction and reasoning so the team understands the why.
What We Look For
- Experience owning a product area and the outcomes it produced.
- Strong product judgment and ability to defend a decision with reasoning.
- Comfort working closely with engineers on technical trade-offs.
- Clear written communication — specs, decisions, and context.
- Willingness to talk to users directly and often.
- Data literacy: forming a question, getting an answer, avoiding self-deception.
- Decisiveness under incomplete information.
Nice to Have
- Experience with games, live-service products, or player-facing systems.
- Familiarity with crypto, wallets, or digital asset products.
- Experience in a small team where the PM also writes the copy and the tickets.
- Background in engineering or design.
