About the Role
The Mobile Engineer builds VistralNova's mobile experiences — player-facing apps, wallet-connected flows, and the mobile surface of our web products. Mobile is where most players actually are, and it is the environment least forgiving of a sloppy build: intermittent connectivity, aggressive background limits, app store review, and devices spanning several years of hardware. This role owns that surface end to end, from interaction detail through release and crash triage.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship mobile applications and mobile-optimised product surfaces.
- Implement wallet-connected and account flows that work on real mobile networks.
- Handle offline behaviour, background limits, deep links, and push notifications.
- Manage release pipelines, store submissions, versioning, and staged rollouts.
- Monitor crashes and performance on real devices, and fix what the data points at.
- Work with design to keep interactions native-feeling rather than a wrapped website.
- Test across the device and OS range our players actually use.
What We Look For
- Shipped mobile applications that real users have installed.
- Strong knowledge of at least one mobile platform, and willingness to work across both.
- Experience with app store submission, review, and release management.
- Understanding of mobile performance: startup time, memory, battery, and network.
- Ability to build interfaces that respect platform conventions.
- Comfort debugging problems that only appear on a specific device or OS version.
- Clear communication with backend and design.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Native, Flutter, or another cross-platform framework.
- Mobile wallet integration or WalletConnect experience.
- Experience with mobile games or real-time mobile applications.
- Accessibility experience on mobile platforms.
