Full Stack Engineer — Platform & Tools
About VistralNova
VistralNova is a technology company building developer tools, game systems, AI-powered experiences, and digital infrastructure for modern interactive products. Our work brings together software engineering, game design, artificial intelligence, and asset-ready infrastructure to help teams create products that are practical, scalable, and easier to trust.
We are evolving toward a flexible technical foundation aligned with Polkadot and PVM-based architecture. Our team values clean architecture, practical execution, strong engineering standards, and long-term product quality.
About the Role
The Full Stack Engineer on our Platform & Tools team builds the developer infrastructure that every other product team at VistralNova relies on — internal dashboards, admin tooling, shared APIs, and the scaffolding that lets game, AI, and digital asset teams ship faster. This role is not digital-asset-specific: it's about strong product engineering fundamentals across a modern web stack, with on-chain integration as one input among many. You'll move between frontend and backend regularly, and your work directly shapes how quickly the rest of the company can build.
What You'll Do
- Design and build internal tools, admin dashboards, and shared platform services used across teams.
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend services that other product teams integrate against.
- Build responsive, maintainable frontend interfaces with modern frameworks.
- Improve developer experience: tooling, documentation, local dev setup, CI/CD.
- Partner with game, AI, and product teams to understand their infrastructure needs.
- Own features end-to-end, from database schema to shipped UI.
- Help set coding standards and review practices as the engineering team grows.
What We Look For
- Solid experience across both frontend (React or similar) and backend (Node.js or similar) development.
- Comfort designing APIs, data models, and service boundaries.
- Experience building internal tools or platform/developer-experience features.
- Pragmatic engineering judgment — knowing when to build vs. reuse vs. defer.
- Strong debugging and cross-stack problem-solving skills.
- Clear written communication for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or serverless/edge platforms.
- Interest in games, AI systems, or digital asset platforms.
- Experience building internal tools or platform/developer-experience features at scale.
- Experience at an early-stage startup wearing multiple engineering hats.
