About the Role
The Developer Advocate is VistralNova's connection to the developers who use what we build. The role runs in both directions: explaining our infrastructure through documentation, examples, talks, and sample projects — and carrying honest feedback from real developers back into product decisions. It is a technical role. You will build demos, read our docs critically, integrate our own tools as a user would, and be the person who says clearly when something is harder to use than we think it is.
What You'll Do
- Build sample projects, demos, and integration examples that developers can start from.
- Write technical content: guides, walkthroughs, and posts explaining how things work.
- Speak at events and community sessions, online and occasionally in person.
- Support developers in community channels and turn recurring questions into documentation.
- Use our own products as a developer would, and report the friction honestly.
- Carry structured feedback back to engineering and product.
- Help shape the developer experience — onboarding, errors, and first-run especially.
What We Look For
- Solid engineering ability — you will write code others read.
- Excellent explanation skills across writing, speaking, and code.
- Genuine empathy for the developer trying to get something working at 2am.
- Experience with technical content, community, or public speaking.
- Willingness to give honest product feedback rather than only advocate outward.
- Self-direction — this role has no queue of tickets.
- Comfort with public visibility.
Nice to Have
- Existing presence in a developer community.
- Experience with developer tools, APIs, SDKs, or platform products.
- Crypto, gaming, or AI developer community experience.
- Video, streaming, or workshop experience.
